350 DTS Hypercure 2K Primer Gray 2.1 VOC

Product Family:

ADVANTAGE #350 (GRAY) is a hypercure, high solids, high build 2K Acrylic Urethane Primer Filler/Surfacer/Sealer. This unique product provides optimal color holdout and can be sanded within 45-60 minutes, with minimal sand scratch swelling. Mixed with the optional DTS-Direct to Substrate Hardener, ADV350 is designed to be used on properly prepared steel, galvanized, aluminum, fiberglass and previously painted surfaces. NOTE: Plastic surfaces should be treated with 5 STAR ADVANTAGE #59007 Adhesion Promoter. ADV350 is inherently 2.1 VOC without expensive solvents, and dries to a smooth low sheen finish, with built-in guide coat properties.

What is National Rule

National Rule:

Certain automotive refinishing coatings products give off Volitile Organic Compounds known as VOCs, which are produced at a measurable rate. These automotive refinishing products are regulated on a National scale by the EPA to control air quality and the regulation term has been coined "National Rule".

What is Low VOC

Low VOC:

Some States have decided to adopt "VOC standards more stringent than the National Rule to assist in achieving attainment with the NAAQS for ozone" to retian tighter air quality control standards than what the National Rule regulations provide. These tighter air quality controls are termed "Low VOC".
